Professional Background
Jennifer Harding-Marlin is the Managing Director and Founder of JH Marlin.
Jennifer is admitted to practise law in Canada and in the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis. She founded JH Marlin Law in 2017 in St. Kitts and Nevis, where the firm has since grown into an internationally focused advisory platform serving private clients, investors, and families across multiple jurisdictions.
Prior to founding JH Marlin Law, Jennifer worked at a leading law firm in the Cayman Islands as part of the corporate and specialist investment funds team. Her professional experience also includes legal practice in The Bahamas and with a prominent local firm in Nevis, giving her deep, on-the-ground insight into offshore legal structures, cross-border transactions, and international regulatory frameworks.
Jennifer has extensive experience advising private clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on global mobility planning, investment structuring, and jurisdictional diversification. Her practice is informed by significant international exposure, having travelled extensively throughout the Caribbean, Central America, and Europe. She has established legal residency in three countries and has conducted business in more than 80 countries worldwide.
In addition to her legal and advisory career, Jennifer has represented the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis internationally in competitive swimming, having competed at the World Championships on more than five occasions. She has also completed her pilot’s licence and has flown to nearly every country in the Caribbean, further underscoring her deep regional familiarity and operational understanding of the jurisdictions in which she advises clients.
Jennifer is known for her practical, strategic approach and for bridging legal rigor with real-world implementation, particularly for internationally mobile clients navigating complex regulatory and investment environments.
